Abstract

Cancer continues to be one of the leading causes of morbidity and mortality worldwide, with its global burden expected to rise significantly in the coming decades. Despite remarkable advancements in conventional cancer treatments, including chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and immunotherapy, challenges such as drug resistance, severe side effects, and high treatment costs persist. These limitations highlight the urgent need for novel, effective, and affordable therapeutic strategies to complement existing treatments and improve patient outcomes.[
