Abstract

Nurses' work with the health team members are the core function and responsibility for being professional, especially in the hospital and other clinical areas of health care setting. The nursing faculty has the responsibility to prepare the student nurses who will work effectively with the health team. Nurse-led programs are helping patients self-manage chronic diseases to reduce emergency room visits and hospitalizations and offering treatments that would otherwise mean patients enduring long waits to see a specialist. Nurse-led models of care are optimizing health, improving access to care, reducing pain and suffering, and saving the health system millions of rupees. The nursing teachers need to understand the aspects of work ethics and values for effective team work related to humane. The application of participatory management and group learning methods and theories may be beneficial in achieving the learning objectives of graduate course.
